It's a cheap copy of a Kabar, likely made in Japan-possibly India.

I think the stamp says "Solingen", which, if it does would be a bit odd.

I kind of thought solingen
myself artabar. that kind of got me a little excited. it bothers me that down below is scratched out. It would kill me if it said japan ![]() Then there's the fact that it has four instead of five finger grooves, and the cut out at the back end of the blade. Mr. DeShivs may be right. Sheath is the real McCoy though.

Just finished burnishing those scratches down
![]() Nip knife.... use it for weeding ![]() Now i gotta fill that sheath ![]() Just a note, there is a k-bar style made in Solin, Japan i just found out. sorry ta waste yer time. Thanks for responding.
