Default Low light sighting recomendations

I have a six inch barrelled S&W 686 that I want to use as hog medicine while I am rambling about my hunting area. My question is, what would be best for lowlight hunting situations? A red dot setup, or maybe one of the holosite type sights, such as the Burris? Any one had any experience with these setups? Or would just a scope be best?

I have used the Red Dot sights, and they work well in low light, not so well in bright sun light. They are quick, once you turn them on!

Lamentations Chapter 5:
1. Remember, O LORD, what is come upon us: consider, and behold our reproach.
2. Our inheritance is turned to strangers, our houses to aliens.
3. We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers [are] as widows.
5. Our necks [are] under persecution: we labour, [and] have no rest.
16. The crown is fallen [from] our head: woe unto us, that we have sinned!
21. Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.
