Ok, I know a lot about handguns and I have upwards of 60 of them but I never got into rifles at all. I am looking for something fun in a real caliber that won't break the bank. Its funny how I'll drop $1600 into a 1911 without a blink but I frown at a $700 rifle. With that said, what is everyone's opinion of the EAA Zastava PAP. I know that EAA Customer Service is horrible but how is this rifle. I have a 9mm Witness pistol and its been perfect; so, I am curious about this rifle.

Mesinge2,
The PAP is an excellent weapon, as are most weapons coming out of the Zastava Factory. (old Yugoslavian arms factory)The biggest drawback is it only uses a 10 round single stack mag. That's not really a problem, but most folks want there AK's to take 30 rd. mags. The PAP can be converted, but it takes a lot of work. I've thought about one , but couldn't stay with the single stack 10 rd. I went with the Saiga, a much easier conversion. If the mag count doesn't bother you, I can highly recommend it, as to quality.

Thanks for the response but I think the capacity limit would bother me as well, darn!
