Default .300 Blackout SBR

Here's a neat build. We really like the .300 AAC Blackout in the AR15 platform, particularly short-barrelled builds with suppressors.

This is a 10" Noveske barrel on a side-charging upper. 9" YHM free-float forend. This will match nicely with the quick-detach flash-hider/suppressor mount for the YHM Phantom suppressor.

Great looking build , Stone. Does it lose much potential in that short barrel or is that not a concern because it's obviously intended for up close and personal work?

The .300BLK was originally designed to be subsonic using 200gr-plus bullets fired out of a suppressed barrel. This is an optimal length for that load. You will lose quite a bit with supersonic ammunition (which should not use the suppressor).

This is a dedicated short-barrelled rifle build which the owner is going to use primarily suppressed with subsonics. Pistol gas system.

We build 16" uppers with carbine gas systems for hunters using this caliber.
