Wow, silly puddy vs block of clay = silly puddy vs a chest, effective!

Although I'm not putting my hand in front of anything coming out of a 12 ga.

I bet a silly puddy .410 would be a good riot gun style load.

Hmmm I wonder if getting hit with silly putty is much different than a dum-dum?

ya think!!
when i took my concealed carry class, i was advised to only use factory loads in my carry piece.
the instructor had a script that he showed us where a person shot a person in self defense. that part was fine by the judge. where the judge got the shooter was, the shooter had hand loaded some hot loads and the judge ruled in favor of the person who got shot. reason? excessive force!

the same can happen if you get in a fist fight. you didn't start the fight, byt you put the guy in the hospital. who do you think is going to pay for his hospital bills.
i know for a fact

yeah, I switched over to factory ammo for that reason. Don't want some idiot prosecuter to try that alley if I need to shoot someone. Not that it will happen, but the fact is, it COULD happen so it's a base I've covered.

to take a step further, you could find out what your local LEO's use in their service weapons and use the same exact ammunition.

"you handloaded those rounds knowing you were going to kill someone and made them 'extra' deadly"

I also put my seatbelt on every time I get in my truck but I don't ever plan on wrecking.

and my handloads are 99% of the time loaded lighter than most factory ammo.

some people's kids....

That would be a great home defense round. I wish they would have tried it on a wall to see if it stops after the first piece of drywall.
