This election is about moving way back to the good old days before 1776 when there were Royals in charge and commoners on the bottom; Royals who were entitled by God to control us commoners. The Royals of today quietly consider the American Revolution to have been a pinko-commie affair. The Royals of today are smart. They own the printing presses, not folks like Ben Franklin. With smart market research and spin doctors they can convince us fools to surrender our rights as easily as we were sold on bottled water. Know your place commoners.

I agree that I don't know who you are or what you know. That's why I did not dispute that you may, in fact, know more than the history and development of totalitarian governments than the other member you were responding to.

But blanket "assurances" like that don't help credibility.

God has a plan, and no matter what we do, or how we act, it will come to pass! In the mean time, let's get rid of all the riff raff we can. Is Romney better for this Country than the muslim, anti christian, communist, illegal immigrant now in office? You betchya! Is there a better choice than Mitt Romney? Sure there is, but that person either isn't running, or didn't get the GOP nod. I would love to have seen Ron Paul in this race instead of Romney. Or better yet, Allen West! We had our chance to see that happen, but we couldn't make it happen. There are only two people in this race that can win, Romney, and Obozo. Now it's up to us to make sure that the candidate we want in office gets the job.

No matter who the candidate, or the Party, it has been and ALWAYS will be about POWER. PERIOD!
The question is, what kind of power base does the individual (or people) prefer, socialist or Capitalist.
In OUR system of free market capitalist enterprise, that power base allows most ANYONE to ascend to a level of power restricted mostly by their own input and level of dedication.
In the socialist power base system, ONLY those CHOSEN or dedicated enough will rise to any level of power or earnings, and then it's an iffy proposition as to how long it can be retained, due to the fewer positions available and the struggle for those positions.
Romney wants power, so does Obama.
But Romney recognizes the power of free enterprise, whilest Obama does too, but doesn't like it.
Obama wants total power, like the fascist he is. The fools of the left THINK he's a socialist, but that's because they're fools.
I've always said that socialists are idiots simply by their affiliation to that system, because it flies in the face of the human desire for property and prosperity.
Any one who claims to be a socialist is either a fool or a power monger, there is NO other answer for it.

I know. For some though, even if it was 20 points they were the same on, that still isn't enough to convince them that Romney is NOT going to be the hero they expect.

The BIG one, the one I cannot get over, is all the gun owners who veritably WORSHIP Romney, when he is the WORST Repub candidate in history on guns. He WILL ban them if he has the chance - as proven by his record..... a record, which apparently doesn't mean much to people. Unbelievable.

He WILL do it given the chance. He will be "forced" to for the "good" of the nation.

There is an invitation from my friends to come see the Republican "RESTORE AMERICA" bus as it tours my area.

I am troubled by this.

If the GOP wants to "Restore America" to what it was in 2008, after 8 years of the last Republican President, G.Bush II, then we are all in BIG TROUBLE! On the other hand, if the GOP wants to "Restore America" to what it was before the last Republican President took office then that's more like it...... oh yea, that was Bill Clinton's presidency......

You can say what you want about Iraq and I won't try to second guess those that were in charge at the time. Having been in a position to watch the 73 A/I war progress I know there's more to these things than you or I as civilians can be aware of.

I won't at all put the blame on Bush for the crash. That goes to the demonrats and their forcing banks and mortgage companies to make loans to people that couldn't afford it. Not to say the republicans are blameless but Bush tried on at least two occasions to get that whole home mortgage mess under control and was rebuffed by the demonrats.

Voting FOR something/someone is not throwing one's vote away. It is one of the principles of freedom this country was founded upon.

Presuming that someone should vote as you do, or else they are "throwing their vote away" is a logical fallacy.

Nope, voting for a third party candidate that cannot win is throwing your vote away. Especially in this election. There are two candidates in 2012, Obama and Romney. Pick one or throw your vote in the trash.

You are either, part of the problem or part of the solution. Obama is the problem, a third party looser is not part of the solution.
