Default Gee, Now Egypt wants the bomb

Who'd a thunk it? 3 guesses who they are looking to for help, and the first two don't count. Can you say "Proliferation"?

This whole Arab Spring-thing is going just swimmingly isn't it? Just wondering, but whose idea was it to fund and arm disident groups who haven't the slightest concept of what a democracy is?

I worked at Mason and Hanger's Pantex plant from 1974-1978. It was the only production facility for nuclear weapons in the US at that time.LASL and LLL may have made a few prototypes, but production was at Pantex outside Amarillo.

There were 2 "production" facilities for nuclear weapons after WWII---Pantex near Amarillo and one in Burlington Iowa. Burlington was closed in the early "70's and all routine production was done at the Pantex plant. There are many facilities that manufacture components for the final product.

Not the most environmentally friendly business, for sure. Still waiting on my positive cancer diagnosis.

If Egypt wants one, we ought to send them one! Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Saudi Arabia too! Save them the shipping charges, drop them off!

I like your thinking. Could add a couple of other recipients.

Been in the Pantex plant many times. I really didn't like going in the gravel gurdy, gave me the heebe jeebies. My trips to the plant were in the mid 80's to the early 90's.

Jack wants to send a load of W80's, I'd prefer the W88 myself. Load the buss with 8 of them, that should take care of things

88's are more destructive , 80 has a shorter radioactive state if done right ( nuke a coal power station and all bets are off on clean V dirty )
