Unhappy Remington 1100 ejection problem.

My son has a Remington 1100 that is having a problem ejecting the shells. It was working fine until he took it apart to clean it. What should we look for?

Most of the time when i get an 1100 or an 11-87 that wont eject its usually a friction issue. i.e. not enough lube on the moving parts.. The other possibility is he didnt get the gas piston and seat in correctly.

Make sure he has the O-rings in correctly and make sure they aren't damaged as well.

We just took it apart. The o-ring is bad. Would that do this?

Yes. The o-rings are the main cause of jamming in the 1100s

Thanks guys. We will pick up some fresh o-rings and give it a try....
