Default My grandson

Okay, I posted this on another thread, but I am so danged happy I wanted to make it a thread of it's own.

Here's the story....

Back about January my son and my grandson (he's 4 at the time) went squirrel hunting on my farm and they were successful in shooting a squirrel.
My son is a member or the North America Hunting club and sent them a picture about it,,,,,they sent him back $150.00 for the picture and his story.

My son saved the $150.00 till today to get my grandson all he would need to stay warm with me in the deer blind this year (I volunteered, and I will cherish it!)

So, here is my grandson, fully outfitted with a BB gun (I gave him) for this years hunt.

BTW, my dad (87 years old, myself, my two sons and this grandson will all be going this year..... 4 generations)

Tell me......does it get any better than this?

First pic is the day of the squirrel hunt......second is today, fully outfitted.

That is great. I like stories like that and you are a good father/old fart grandfather.

BTW. Is that your squirrel that he had to shoot for you? I'm just asking.

Good job grandpa.

No, it was my son that did the shooting, grandson went with him which was his first hunt.....I was cooking steaks on the grill at the time.....that squirrel surely wasn't gonna feed all of us.

Thanks.

Thanks Beth....I think he's cute too, but of course I am biased.

The white stuff is south central Michigan snow.
