Here’s the most salient excerpt from the devastating editorial: However, while he had to contend with a Republican Party that was determined to deny him a second term at any cost, Obama cannot avoid the consequences of poor decisions and misplaced priorities. Foremost among them was his early focus on an overreaching health-care reform plan that wasted 12 very valuable months of his and Congress’ time and cost him precious political capital. The manner in which the legislation was drafted violated Obama’s pledge to govern openly, and its passage — leveraged through a supermajority — served to further galvanize the partisan divide in Congress. was listening in to some bankers here last week

CFO of maquarie CFO ( asia Pac ) of Citi and some others

they predict a huge job growth if obama loses just because there wont be a obamacare and that alone will help your economy greatly

they are also working on lobbying the US gov to install tarriffs to protect US jobs / stop cheap imports that dont save you money

these are Americans based in Sydney , been chatting with em on what we have to do to sort our coming mess china's economy is tanking fast .. and we supply raw materials

and seeing all out manufacturing went offshore

this means price hikes on anything imported and thats almost everything

i'll be ok , but many here who are bound to supermarkets and the welfare economy will suffer a heap

short sighted idiots and thats just our leaders ..
