Hello All,
I have an M38 that I will be hunting with this year. As any Mosin Nagant owner knows, the sights stink. I like the carbine size and 7.62x54R power, I want something i can snap shoot accurately up to 100-150 yards (anything over 100 yards is rare around here). I have been going back and forth between a good scout scope set up or the Mojo peep sights. Does anyone have any thoughts/experiences they'd like to share? Thanks! MSM

Personally, I was not comfortable with the scout scope; but, it would depend on your level of comfort with the mojo or iron sights.
I have a adjustable rear mojo on a m38 swede that (with the stock front sight) is very "friendly" to my eyes. Try using just the rear if possible before you change both sights. I am happy with what I bought, they make a good product. |
