Mine is a stock Remington 700VS in .308 Winchester.
It is very ammo sensitive but with Black Hills 168gr. molycoat match the darn thing shoots like a laser. Has a Leupold 2.5-10x50 on it. ![]()

They make reloading equipment. No longer making scopes.
Here is a picture. She is good for minute or squirrel out to 400+yards. I know because I have done it. ![]() Last edited by cpttango30; 10-26-2012 at 05:40 AM.. |

That sure is a pretty stock on that Garand! All of my centerfire rifles are accurate it's just the fellow holding them that is not very good!

My most accurate rifle is my 1903 Springfield, military full C Stock and 3X9 rangefinding scope. Ugly as sin (looks like it was dragged behind a jeep several times), but it will shoot sub- 1/2" groups at 100 yards all day with M73 match loads.

i have a nice 1903 with the C type stock....
![]() But the sights are so hard for me to see I can't really tell how accurate it might me. I recently got a 1903A3 also with the C type stock. Sights much easier to use but I have not shot it yet.
