Welcome to TFF.
I believe the partial marking on the lockplate read "LEMAN LANCTR PA, an abbreviation used by Henry Leman of Lancaster Pennsylvania. He may have made the whole gun or just provided the lock. Here's an article about him and his guns: http://www.prospector-utah.com/leman.htm |
