Default My New Mold

Lee 10MM 175gr TC converted to a Hollow Point.
I'm excited about this. Can't wait till it arrives and I can give it a shot, pun intended.

If I like it I am going to get one in 45 as well.

Eric does great work I have two of his conversions. A .38 At 145 grains and a .40 at 165 grains. The molds work perfectly. They are LEE molds so mold temperature has to be right. Wrinkles means not hot enough, Frost means too hot. There is a thin line between the two.

I had a chance to cast a few bullets today and test out the new mold.

Works great. I weighed 10 bullets, the low was 169.2gr and the high was 170.3gr. My Alloy is straight WW. I'm pleased with that weight as I was told they may come in as low as 155gr and was hoping for 165gr +.
