People around me are stocking up on water and easy to prepare food. I've got a good amount of water stocked up for other reasons, but if needed it will be our drinking water. Have plenty of food on hand that can be cooked fairly easily if we loose power. What I did buy at Wally world was 2 bulk packs of .22lr rounds, and 500 rounds of 45acp. Should have seen the look on the faces of my neighbors when all I carried in my house was ammo!

Nope, we have been getting 55-60 mph gust winds with some rain. Nothing too bad. Our walmart is empty in alot of areas too. Got my flash light ready, thats about all I need.

I grew up on the Jersey shore. Most of my family is gone, but there's still a few back there. My old home town is under a mandatory evacuation, but I've heard alot of people are refusing to go.
My thoughts and prayers are with all in the path of the storm.

I tried out our gas fireplace logs yesterday, if no electricity no furnace.
Got our battery drawer all filled up.
Got extra water.
Got a boatload of food.

Kind of just getting ready for winter in general.

Just made sure the propane take was up to par. No electric no heat can make things bad real fast. Especially with this crazy, early colder weather....I'm thinkin' about a month ahead on the o'l calender!
