Talking I thought they always canned water?

Georgia Budweiser Plant Scraps Beer to Send Water to Sandy Victims

Who knew that they weren't always canning water?

Seriously though, this is a great thing for any company to do to help out!

Our house was flooded many years ago and I remember trucks distributing cans of Anheuser Busch drinking water. White cans with black letters. Pretty plain looking but VERY welcomed!

If they are coordinating with the Red Cross, it will be sold to the storm victims.

we had a tornado a few years back that litterly wiped a town off the map. Absalutly nothing left standing. but one or two trees.
my friends dad owend a trucking Co. that hauld milk.
He took two tankers, filled them with drinking water. and headed out.It took 3hrs. to get there.
And after spending the day fighting with the red cross and NG.
They would not let him in to help.
So he set the trucks up just out side there parimater. and went to work handing out fresh water to the victums.

Would you balive they called the state police to try and have him arested for being disordaly.
The troopers said hell no.
he did it for 4 days, untill they brought in there own water trucks.

My dad always hated the red cross. Not sure why. He was in China Burma And India during the war. He told me never to donate to them...

I've heard some WWII stories about the Red Cross, some petty things, some not.

I've always been a bit suspicious of groups that handle large sums of money, you just wonder where it all really goes.

The pres & CEO of the red cross makes about $650,000 per year plus expenses.

My Dad told me about the Red Cross, He hated them! Charged him for a razor to shave with in Korea, he was trying to get cleane up from being in a foxhole on the front lines! The more I hear about them the more I dislike them. Too many power trips for the ones in charge.

I've heard many stories about the Red Cross and have a couple myself. One I will reference here just by saying a friendly Sergeant of the Guard smuggled my pregnant wife onto the base and stashed her in BOQ overnight. Seems Red Cross wasn't interested in lending us $20 for overnight lodging by holding her allotment check worth 5 times that.

in '93 our house and neighborhood got flooded. red cross came in and fed us 3 meals. a week later they were back asking for payment. I told them all my money got washed downstream and they should go look for it. come on guys. do you think a 23 year old has money for a furnace, water heater, sump pumps, 4 fans and and is willing to pay for donated food?!

1964 my best friend was sent to Germany. He was there about 6 months when his wife passed away. He went to the red cross for help to get home . Sorry we cannot do anything. His CO helped arrange a trip stateside. He arrived the day after she was buried. The red cross can kiss my big white A.....
