Gentlemen
We just found Grandpa's shot gun, I'm not going to ask about value because I know there are too many variables. And We're going to keep it. But I would like to know how old it is. Winchester model 1897 12 ga. Serial 163235 Thanks in advance. Steve A W

March 1902, and you can get a factory letter for it from the Cody Firearms Museum if you desire. Bert H.
