I wouldn't say that. They find "extinct" fish every year in the ocean. And, how often does say the average person see a baby turkey or even a baby pigeon. Not often, but we know they have to exist. And, look at dogs and cats they will wander off to die and you don't find their bodies.

In some states, Big Foot has been declared an endangered species and it's illegal to harvest one as with any endagnered species. Just sayin...
