Wow How many of us old hunters would have gotten all bent out of shape over that monster. Not the 12 year old. He might as well stop hunting now as thats as good as it gets. hehe.

That is kinda what I was thinking. One of the best parts of hunting (and fishing) is looking for the elusive "monster"; the once in a lifetime prize!

You know its great to have access to property that can offer you a chance at a deer like that. Some of those northern farms have just whats needed to grow those monsters and they manage it for them. Bet this deer comes off that kind of land or is right along side some. .

That poor boy has been RUINED ! He will strive the rest of his life to do better and the odds are against him. Reckon he should retire from deer huntin while he is still ahead
