Thumbs up The Girl Who Hunts

More women enjoying hunting as pastime
http://www.inforum.com/event/article...71/group/News/

Rachel Leitch of Moorhead can’t remember a time when she wasn’t a hunter. Since she could walk, Leitch’s dad took her to the deer stand each hunting season. “Everyone knows me as the girl who hunts,” the 16-year-old said. - Tracy Frank

Is a lot of girls and women in the South that hunt and drive pickup trucks. Their trucks are easily identified by the pink deer head in the rear window next to the pink sticker that says silly boy, trucks are for girls.

All three of my daughter hunt with me. They are getting quite proficient at it.

Mine says "Warning: I can kick your butt without smearing my eyeliner"
I don't "do" pink.

My wife is by far and away more of a hunter then I am anymore. She has enjoyed Archery, Firearms, Muzzle loader, and Crossbow hunting mostly for Whitetail Deer. She's taken six Deer in the last five years (with archery and gun), so I'd say she's getting the hang of it pretty well.

She is way more dedicated to hunting then I am, but I've got too many health problems to really enjoy it now I'm sorry to say.
