There are only two ways to secede from the Union.
1. Through legal action. 2. Throught civil war, if you win. The petition is not official, it's just a way to show that you disaprove of where this Country is headed. Do you believe that the voting on the 6th was rigged? Did you vote? Better keep your head down!

Scared?! Hidden in fear? No, not at all. I did post as to the tactical aspects of this.
There are also family considerations. Paranoia? Possibly, but I am far less concerned with that flunky I spoke of. This IS the big league ya'know. Can anyone here REALLY believe that that kind of power won't push those people to do things that lesser people on the totem pole wouldn't consider? Gun Guys talk about being on a list and all, so what? There are probably many lists, overseen by those lessor flunkys, but why put yourself on HIS list? That's all I'm saying, it's just surprising to me. Perhaps it's sign of people reaching the end of their rope. It is frustrating, maybe that's it.

I posted this in another forum-
If the FG were smart they would allow red states to form their own country. I'm more than convinced, something beneficial for all concerned can be worked out; "IF" the focus is placed on the right things. For Instance: We can focus on a peaceful citizen exchange where the new "Conservative States of America" can get all the "conservative" minded people that currently live in the more socialist areas of the country; and we can give them all the people that voted for Obama. ![]() Obama gets his socialist nation where he can stay in power; and we get to keep a FREE "Constitutional" republic! Those that want the government to care for their every need will get their wish; and People who desire to be more "self-dependent" will be able to do so freely. (Not to mention, a simple "citizen" exchange would do wonders for cities that have lost their workforce and have bad housing situations.) It would give a much needed boost the the US economy by instantly decreasing the dependence of the VERY expensive entitlement programs. (It would absolutely save Social Security by taking MILLIONS off the rolls!) By allowing the formation of the "Conservative States of America", it would give the USA additional import/export dollars and give them a strong & effective ally in this part of the world; while decreasing the military spending the administration wants to cut anyway. Selling military bases and government owned lands to the newly formed "Conservative States of America", would give the USA additional needed revenue to boost the economy. There truly would be a lot of Win-Win for everyone concerned if they would take this seriously; and allow the "Red" states to "peacefully" secede. (If done right Obama would be considered a genius and would surely be inducted as the USA's POTUS Emeritus.) ![]() It's really a win-win for everyone! ![]() - |

If you are in fear of your government deporting you for a disagreement? Then consider the facts. The facts are during a "Purge" they arrest the opposing party. That means if you are a registered voter and not a member of the ruling party they already have your name.

Each State has the option to "opt out of the union" so to speak, a talk radio program I listen to went over this last night, I also heard people from the liberal island of Austin have started their own petition to not be part of TX,
The TX Gov has already said he see's no reason to change anything, TX, or any other state will never secede, why? Because then TX, for example would become it's own country, like it was before it was forcably taken away from Mexico, well what's wrong with that? you say, Well it's a long list, but here's a few reasons why it won't happen, Good: no taxes to the Fed Gubmint, Bad: no millions or billions of $ FROM the Fed G, Bad: you are now subject to import/export taxes, etc. etc., Texans are mighty proud of their state, just as folks are of their own home state, but Texas doesn't have every thing you need to move forward as it's own country, for example, where are you going to get basic building supplies? like lumber, from the scraggly pines in E. TX?, how long is that going to last, guess it will have to be imported, and taxed/tariffed till it hurt's, what about copper and steel piping/products etc. etc., are you going to drink only Lone Star? the single most absolute worst swill (I can't even call it beer) ever created? or pay double for imported beer, Hey, Mexico called, they want part of their country back sorry, couldn't resist,I have nothing against TX, I lived in San Antonio for 10 yrs, Texan's, in general, are some of the finest folks I've ever met , I've worked in at least 25 different states, there are fine folks in every one of them, no state has it all, or is the best, each has it's positive's and negative's, every one on them. And no other state will secede either, even though they have the option, for many more reason's than I mentioned above, |

What you could see is an increase in IRS audits for the people that sighed. That how they do things. You forget you even sighed this and 4 or 5 months latter you get hit with an audit. Next thing you know you spend the next 5 years trying to clear it up.
They can seize your bank accounts house cars and any property you own. Even your guns. I have seen this happen to friends so don't tell me it cant happen.

I agree with most on signing the petition but the thing is, if you sign it then your letting them bastards know who to put on one of their BS list. Everyone who signs it will be put on the no fly list, terrorist watch list etc. we need to band together and stay unknown.

I stopped reading the posts cause they were annoying me. If you are scared of being on a watch list from our government, contact Shooter45 AKA Sam, and have him former guest you. Cause guess what brainiacs, YOUR ON A WATCH LIST IF YOU HAVE POSTED TO THIS SITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is not a locked site, anyone can view it, they are reading this very thread. Stay scared if you want, I'm done. I am not scared of this government. I am a true American. When the time comes, and it is coming, I will stand with those on the right. They already know who we are, where we are, and have all the pertinent info on us. How many registered guns we have, and they have compiled how many you have inadvertently mentioned on here that aren't registered. If your scared stop posting here. Every post you make they read. YOUR WARNED

These petitions have no backing by the states themselves. With that said if the people that signed these petitions feel that strongly about secedeing from the united States of America then i'd sugest they persuade their elected representitives to start a real petition.
Our founding fathers signed a "petition" so to speak and if it would've turned wrong for them do you think the King would've said, "No big deal guys"? Nope, they'd have been executed. So I say to all that signed a petition to secede from the Union. Get your representatives involved, get the states involved and lets get the real deal going. I'm to old to play with worthless petitions on the interwebs. I shall however stand and fight with my fellow statesman should Ohio actually secede but somehow I think that's not going to happen.

Otherwise, it's just paranoia. If it can't be proven, it's heresay and parnoia. How many sites like this are there? And how much computer time and personnel can "they" dedicate to ALL those websites ? The logistics would be astounding. But when someone posts DIRECTLY to the WhiteHouse, well, now your knocking on the devil's own door, BIG difference.

I'm not scared. Its a total waste of time. Seriously, how would you react to getting a petition from a bunch of liberals? You'd light it on fire and throw it down the toilet. Its meaningless and a complete waste of time. In addtion to that, you are going to get spammed now. I bet you get DNC mailers asking for cash LOL...have a good day guys!

Go look right now at how many "guests" are on here. Ever heard of web crawlers? They are bots perusing web sites. How did you find TFF? From a friend or a web search. Me? Web search. I was looking for reloading info. Its all stored somewhere. Everything you post is out there for someone to read. Is there a specific person somewhere in their undies eating cheetos and documenting everything we type? Don't know. But there are computer programs out there that scan data for info. They are scanning every post we write on here. Thats not paranoia its fact. How do you think they find the obscure web sites that terrorists use to plan attacks. They are scanning data looking for flags. Think about it ![]()

There is so much paranoia assumed here it is like a bad joke.
In 2 years there will be another election and then 2 years after that another election..... Remember, the constitutional convention went on for months with men who did not agree with each other. They worked it out and in that spirit so must we. |

Couldn't be anymore true and accurate, automated programs of Big Brother are constantly searching for keywords on any website that is publicly accessable, the only other 2 forums I belong to are private, and closely watched, the only way a new member/user can get in is by recomendation of an existing member, an application/vetting process by the owners and moderator's, IP address's etc are watched so they know if your account is being used from a computer that it is not usually used from, a "courtesy" email is sent to make the user aware, that they are aware, of possible comprimised account, a quick email back to the admins letting them know I was on from my parents house, in Nebraska, and all good, This may seem excessive, but it is as close to a guarentee as you are going to get that noone is on your forum that isn't supposed to be, It stops lurkers/trolls from just hanging out and benefitting from member info, and not providing anything in return, everyone participates/contributes or are put out the door, rarely happens, the vetting process is strict, And both of these forums were started for the same reason THIS forum was started, some members on a PUBLIC forum were not getting along and ruining it for everyone with the fighting (owners of TFF, sound familiar?) so we said F'em, let's start our own, private gig, 2 different forums were spawned, one that is Blue Water only, and one that is Blue Water, Bay, and Delta combined, as the bodies if water are connected, So these 2 private forums where started, members recruited/cherry picked from the public forum that had grown too large, was full of takers just looking for info, but not contributing, and just too much infighting, These forums, where we share gps numbers, reports/techniques/bait/lures used, that are made the evening of day the fishing trip was taken on, for the benefit of the folks going the next day, as close to real time info as possible is key to ocean/bay fishing success as the fish, depending on the species you are after are migratory, and constantly on the move, so info from 1 or 2 weeks ago, like from The Fishsniffer rag, is pretty much useless, The only way to get in otherwise is to have hacked someone's username/password, which or course is not totally out if the question, but measures are in place to combat that as much as possible, I have never, in 10+ years, seen any spam or intrusion of any kind, I am fishing/hunting partners with the owners of both forums as well, which can have it's perks as well, |
