Question Pointer pistol

Anybody know anything about this?
It was brought in by a costumer and they would like to know it's age and value and any other info. you might have.
Thanks for the help in advance.
It has Pointer on the barrel and the only other markings are numbers on the bottom of the barrel and on the top of the receiver under the barrel and they match it is the # 47

Default Re: Pointer pistol

Made by Hopkins & Allen in Norwich CT ca. 1870s-1890.

Flayderman lists value of $225 for Very Good condition, but in that condition, I'd knock off $200...

Frame was originally nickel plated and barrel blued.
