I recently converted my V roasts to canned V Stew. WOW, Some Venison a little beef chuck, potatoes, onions, carrots, celery, a little stock some salt and 90 min in the pressure caner and out pops the best stew I have ever tasted.

I canned 14 qts so far in the past two weeks and I only have 6 left. Every time I turn around there is another empty canning jar in the DW. Seems like it's all my boys are eating lately.

this is probably true. but when i hunted i was with a group of 10- 15 guys and a couple of women. for me it wasn't about the kill. it was sharing all the stories we had to tell and being with each other.
now they are all dead and the 1000 acres we hunted is full of homes
