My knife arrived today. It is a Damascus style knife that is 8.2" long and the blade is 4" long. It weighs 8.2 oz. The file work is excellent. The blade material is 1095 & 15N20, and the handle is Horn, Wood, and Bone. This is an A+ quality knife with excellent workmanship. I can't wait to take it hunting. Here's some pics.
Sorry about the quality of my camera and the date being wrong.

Nice blade Jim!
How does the damascus sharpen? Id assume fairly easy since its an inferior steel, but the question is, will it hold an edge? or is it just for show?..

I will find out how well the edge holds up. Obviously it won't hold as good of an edge as the better steel that the market has to offer but, this knife is made with high and low carbon steel. So with it being a carbon knife even though it has two different strength steels in it. The edge should hold up. I WILL see this next hunting season how well it holds up. Either way, it is a nice knife.

I got it off of eBay. With shipping and my bid I got it for about $35.00. There are some nice Damascus knifes on eBay. Some nice ones go for cheap. Thanks for asking woolley.

Yep, I bought 3 just like it today
at the gun show for $4 out the door. Good Pakistani craftmanship.... $1.33 each wasn't so bad......but the DAMassCUS finish[magic marker] wore off on one of them before I got to the truck !! Still a good deal......I have been selling them for $35 on e-bay...and making a killing ! [although the price of Sharpie's have gone up] [Jim knows I'm just picking on him]
