gmg z mount questions - The Firearms Forum

i got this for my ar, and im wondering if it is possible to do any sanding on it and not have the entire finish come off. the co-witness channel is to 'shiny' and is kind of irritating me. i want to rough it up so it doesnt reflect as much on the sides.

Nope they are anodized. any sanding will lighten the areas. Tape off the sides and spray with bbq pit flat black. That will knock it way down and when the paint is fully cured, its chemical resistant.
