Any Hard Cider fans here?
I just picked up a 6 pack of Angry Orchard Crisp Apple. Good stuff I like it a little better than Woodchucks Hard Cider.

When I was a youngin, we called it Apple Jack. I had an uncle that made it on his farm. As I recall it was realy good stuff. He also made several types of wine that I never cared for.
While I don't drink alcohol any lonnger, I can't imagine any type of hard cider from a store being good.

i used to get here from some of the locals that made their own and kept in a wooden barrel.
i could never get any untill it was cold enough to freeze the cider. the ol feller would pop out the bung, shine his light in there, and say yeper its good to go we have ice. he had a hickory stick he would poke in there to break the ice, then a siphon hose was used to fill how ever many jugs he needed AH the good ol days |
