And I agree with this quote

"For the money that's been spent and the losses that are out there, it would have been cheap just to burn the ship."

Where exactly was the spill located, anyway?

What's a shame is that no one among these 'check it out' agencies have considered the cost to humans ... both that lived near the beaches that were sprayed with poison (Inipol EAP 22 or Corexit) nor the workers themselves. Joe Hazelwood got off too light. They should retry him for manslaughter.

The native carver that made the one-of-a-kind "Joe Hazelwood mask" said that the last 2 stops of the Smithsonian art tour, they just didn't happen to have a case to display it in ... 'hmm said Jerry Laktonen, just like the holocost ... it never happened'

I disagree with the results of the 'studies on the environment' and what should be done in future. Clean more birds? The efforts in Valdez animal recovery were a failure. Some birds/seals were saved in the Seward efforts, but almost no birds ended up surviving from the Valdez efforts. They can't keep warm, either, when you 'wash' the feathers and remove their natural oils.
Let me tell you what I think!

I bet if you found the workers who were drenched in oil and Dawn, or just walking around nearby where the vapors were in the air, you would find others like artist, Joy, with CLL and blood damage. I bet Robin Crochet who had a spleen and pancreas removed and a daughter born with major heart defects ... would never volunteer again, nor would her co-worker, Marc Della Rocca, son of a prominent neurosurgeon. I wonder if his family noticed changes in him, or whether he is living in health ... or even still alive? For some reason Robin wanted to contact Marc. She said he was very intelligent. Anyone know where he is? If you worked on this oil spill 'cleanup,' please share what you did & how you are!

from me, "I can tell you about 2 other 'volunteers.' One just delivered lunches and supplies to the beaches and she has HORRIBLE headaches, short term memory loss. Doctors are giving very strong medicine for headaches, & I fear they will harm her more.

Another volunteer has been diagnosed with too may immature red blood cells and the doctors are 'bleeding her' How barbaric, are we in the dark ages? ... back to using leaches for medical science? Why would they do that? Soon she may not have enough blood, and they are bleeding her?"

If you want to find the chronic FATIGUE syndrome cause, ask your doctor to check for acquired autoimmune hemolytic anemia. The blood tests don't give any indication that the doctor should look here. There will be blood in urine and the retic rate rises with exposure to 2-butoxyethanol but diminishes over time. Study everything about the red blood cells and you will find your answers. Their age, their size, their shape, their membranes? The ratio is off between mature and immature red blood cells. Too many are immature. Blood is thick and dark, say workers.

Put more of that 2-butoxyethanol from these Exxon 'concoctions' in our oceans??? Horrors ... this is the cause of the loss of 80% of the herring ... in 1993, if you look more closely

And we take a failed effort and just because something was 'tried' pass it on to other nations? Like the 1995 Australian oil spill cleanup where they 'bought' the Corexit idea and even make their own. Where it has been sold to the Dept of Defense. Where they used it from airplanes in Aug, 2003 and the breeze blew that poison into the eyes of Karachi citizens. They want to do a health study of their people, and I hope they do! (Some harmed from this chemical, ethylene glycol monobutyl ether)
