My father gave me his rifle, can anyone tell me anything about it. worth? is it a good rifle? Is it powerful( new to rifles).

That's the Interarms Mark X, a Yugoslavian commercial variant of the 98 Mauser. Good rifles, although the factory wood stocks were pretty cheesy.
Is it chambered for 7mm Remington Magnum?

Then it is adequately powerful for any game on the North American continent, with allowable argument for the larger bears and moose.
