What works best for kinfe honing oil? I'm about at the end of a can that I've had for about 10 years, and need to replace it. What works best for you?

I will use oil on my coarse (shaping) stones, but not on my fine (finishing) stones. I like Honers and Marvel Mystery oil. On the fine stones, the oil holds abraded metal against the working edge and prevents a really fine edge from forming. I use them dry and wash them after each use. I oil my leather strops with any good leather conditioner and work in a little fine valve grinding compound into the suede side.
