Some of the states have laws that require any handgun to be processed through a dealer for all transfers. And a waiting period before the handgun transfer can be completed.
My question is whether I could ship a handgun to a C&R holder in a State that has this type of law or does it need to go through a licensed dealer as stated in the law? Ca,Md are two states that I would have a question about. AIM surplus has also started to refuse shipments of handguns to certain states, even when the handgun is a C&R and the purchaser is a C&R holder.

Local and State laws must be complied with.
All C&R holders have a copy of AFT P 5300-2 State Laws and Ordiances for reference,. New Jersey, NY, and Mass are others to beware of
