IDSA? - The Firearms Forum

Has anyone heard of the IDSA? I went to what I thought was going to be an IDPA match on Saturday. They were having an IDSA match instead. I think a new association has started. Although, not what I expected, I had a really good time and saw a lot of good shooters. Still, I am confused.

Had not heard of it. Looks to be new this year. Interesting though. Kind of a cross between IPSC and IDPA, less restrictions on equipment, but includes rifles, shotguns, and
submachine guns.

I will be watching this as it develops.

Do you have a link or any other info? I tried a google, but all I came up with was medical stuff.

Richbug, I think this thing is in its infancy. One of the organizers was taking video on Saturday. Look up TDPA/TDSA in Dallas and check out their forums etc... http://www.tdsa.net/
