In case any one is interested Mr. Imperato has made availble the metal bands for the H001 and I,m sure other similar rifles with plastic bands. I had trouble seeing the front sight and the metal one will have a white dot

I've ordered a set and will try them on as soon as I get them.

Have you got the new front sight from Henry yet? I've been waiting for some feedback on them before I get one. I shoot silhouette with my Henry and the front sight is to thick to shot out past 50 yards. I am looking for a sharper front sight without having to spend alot of $

10/4 on the sights. I got them some time back. They are the same as the plastic ones but cast in a metal alloy, from what I can tell. The only difference is the front sight has the white dot on it.

I did have a problem with the front stock ring not fitting exactly. And you don't want to tighten the screw too much beacause it will strip.
