Well, I was over at brand x and since there were no forums to read I got on the auction. I got seduced by a nice looking Taurus Tracker on there and just got the notice that she's mine now. I probably should have asked this before but, how do these stand up as plinkers and shooters? I've handled the Trackers in 357 and liked the feel, hopefully the 22 has the same balance. Oh by the way, it is a 6.5 inch barrel, full lug, 7 shot, stainless. I haven't heard from the seller yet, but hopefully it will come on a warmer day than today and I can take it right out to the range.

I'm curious to know what you find out. I've been eyeballing those as well.

I've heard that their 357's and 44's don't stanc up as well as the S&W's, but I'd think that with the lack of recoil the 22lr has, the tracker should be a pretty good handgun.

I still haven't heard from the seller. Hopefully he's just at a gun show and will contact me tomorrow. I'll give you a report.

I have one I bought used last week. I have fired about 500 thru it, both Hi-velocity and CCI standard. Only one or two jambs. Shoots nice. AL
