I am sure most of you have a few in the toolbox, etc., but remember that they can cost you more in the long run than a decent knife. Case in point, I have one of those cheap knock off made in Taiwan, Swiss Army knifes and the other day I just about cut me seriously when the blade folded back the wrong way while I was useing it! I can understand a cheap blade breaking but I have never had this happen while useing any knife.

My point proven...
a junk/dull knife is dangerous. *ouch* ![]() |

cointoss - while I have a few (and I do mean few) decorative knives that are not meant to be used, anything I carry on me or in a tool box had better be sharp, work correctly and no malfunctions or I'm tossing it in the garbage immediately!
I stick with Gerber, Shrade, K-Bar, Buck, etc. for my working knives. |
