Edited by: Different name at: 7/3/02 2:30:49 pm Tac401 Administrator Posts: 5157 (7/3/02 5:23:42 pm) Reply | Edit | Del Re: Pre-ban SALES? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Charlie, You have to seek out a "Transferable" machinegun which will be a pre-86, then you will need to fill out a form 4 and have the weapon transfered to a C-3 dealer for pick-up when it is approved, which will take up to 6-months or more, you will also have to send in a one time(for each NFA firearm)$200.00 NFA tax along with your form 4. Finger prints and pictures are part of the proccess too, and you will need your local "CLEO"(Chief Law- Enforcement Officer)to sign off on your form. Hope this helps, if you need more info or from whom to buy and not buy from, then ask away my friend! The proccess is a bit of a pain but there is nothing like full auto and the end result is very gratifying when your form is approved and you bring your first NFA gun home.
