Sorry to bother you all, but I have very limited knowledge of the US legal system and I wouldn't know where to look if I didn't know you.
The question:
If you legally own a silencer and can legally fit it on your gun, and you have a Concealed Carry Permit (if that's what it's called), can you then legally carry a silenced gun?
I know the answer can be different for every state. Could you just say what it looks like in your state, if it's not too much trouble.
I'm asking out of pure curiosity of course.

There is no general federal law that would prohibit it, but there are some restrictions as to moving a registered firearm (the silencer) intrastate - as in permanent relocation.

Texas has no law that would prohibit it.

Of course, you would have to have the silencer paperwork with you...
