A pic from "The Plunge" - The Firearms Forum

After taking the plunge and getting back into the hobby with both a .45 (Sig P200 SAS) and a 9mm (Browning Hi-Power), I was told by someone here that I had to post pics from my day at the range with my buddies from work.

Sorry it's taken a week for me to find the time to post a pic, and only one pic turned out worth a flip. Oh well, it captures the day quite well, I think.

And before you guys razz me about the mess I made of that target, let me defend myself by saying that it was only the second time in 12 years that I had pulled the trigger on anything, and the Sig is my first double-action, and my first .45.

One of my work buddies is ex-military, and he's promised to coach me into shape. So my future targets will have to look more impressive.

No place to go but up, right?

One can always visualize, but it's nice to "see" what's going on.

Just remember, the more you practice, the tighter the groups.

oh, and practice is fun.

I noticed the target sights on your Hi-Power. Factory? And the grips. Hogue? Nice picture, BTW.

The target doesn't look all to bad. Couple of flyers but I get that too on my warm up runs. DA get's some gettinig used to, so don't sweat it too much for now.

When you get tired of the Hi-Power, you can just send it to me ;D
