Default smart people's help needed

If I was to open a maid service company and traveled to central / south America to interview possible new employees could I write that off my tax's even if I never get the business off the ground
Nan they would just tell me that I could do the interviews without leaving the USA.

The full auto's (AK47) I ran across in Nicaragua where $125 to $150 US DOLLARS and in very good conditions. Then there is the letter I got from the Nicaraguan government that says if I ever return to their country I will be hung as a pirate they where not joking either!
here is another little tip don't try to bring them back into this country by boat, The US Coast Gaurd will take them from you.
I didn't know they where onboard so no charges were filed but I did make the list
