Thumbs up troy & i met some liberals at....

shooter's choice! i dunno if ya'll remember the liberal board i've mentioned off & on before, but troy & i met a couple that post there @ shooter's choice tonight! we spent about 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours of range time w/ them. at first, when i found out they were coming to SC, i joked w/ her about meeting up at a shooting range for some target practice. well, her hubby found out about it & thought it sounded like fun, so that's what we did tonight. these people are absolutely LIBERAL, voting straight D... i think they came away from there w/ a new perspective on firearm ownership. kim (the wife) was a natural! out of 100 rounds, i shot maybe 36 & she shot everything else but 2. (she let her hubby shoot those! )

she took her target w/ her so that she can get a picture of it & post it on the liberal board. the guys that work there, when we were leaving, made a comment & asked us if we enjoyed our time there & i said "yep! & check out her target, she's never shot a gun before tonight!" that guy immediately said "WOW! GREAT JOB!!" & then he started complimenting everything about her & said he wouldnt want to be the 1 to tick her off.

it was ALOT of fun & i'm glad we got to meet them!

kim was 1 of the biggest ANTIGUN posters on this board, but she has toned down some. i NEVER thought she'd EVER decide to meet me, much less at a range! it was a BIG step for her IMHO. (i post w/ her more than her hubby) she was really jumpy at 1st, at just the sound of a gun being fired, but she ended up getting into it & it didnt affect her after a while. they both did really well!!

btw ~ i have an open invitation to go to the range to all of the liberals on that board... there is 1 other liberal on there that has actually asked me to take her to the range if she ever makes it to SC.

Good for you!
By the way, I love the picture in your posts. If She Who Must Not Be Named actually runs, we should have that made poster size and distribute it.
