Default brazilian 20ga. FJE?

I have an old 20ga. side by side double barrel shotgun and id like to know the value and quality of it. It says "moito made in brazil on it" and it also says what looks like FJE or FIE with what looks like some kind of big cat over top of it. all the writing and decoration on the gun looks like it is stamped. the gun also says Miami, Fl on it.

all the machining on this gun looks like it was done by hand.

The only thing I can tell you is that F.I.E. is/was an importer of foreign made firearms.

I think it probably says "Boito". This company is still in business, I think, and is the same company who made/makes the Stoeger Double. They were imported in the 70's and 80's by a variety of people, FIE of Miami is one, and I have seen them marked KMART as well. They are decent guns, in good condition they will fetch about $275 around here. I own or owned several, 410, 20 and 12. Never seen a 16, don't think they made one. There are various model/differences. One of the ones I had was equipped with terrible triggers and trigger guard. Very cheap pressed steel. If you pulled too hard on the trigger it would bend.

It should be "Boito, made in Brazil"
FIE imported them for many years. They can still be found imported by Stoeger. They are good guns, not great guns. They were never very expensive. I've seen many that have been around for a number of years and are still useable. Fit and finish aren't great, but they do go bang and can bring home the game.
