I am looking to buy an M1 and I've found one but i can find out about the serial number it starts with AA and i cant seam to find out anything about the Rifle except that it's a repo. can someone help?

Only, we will need more info than that, like maybe what maker is stamped on the receiver, or any other markings, and any other description you can come up with, like type of sights, sling swivel type, barrel length, does it have a bayonet lug, or a sleeve over the barrel, type of magazines if any, anything....

A picture would help too if you have access to a digital camera.
