I just got a notice from my friendly neighborhood ATF that after Mayday they join the class which includes 14" guns off the Arizona. What are these things, like super-Winchester 97s or what? Do I want one?

Obelix,

They are one of the biggest, ugliest and gawdiest guns
I've ever seen, I could have had all I wanted but they
look too much like a gas tank with a trigger.

If they were decent the military would be using them,
the only reason they are moving to class 3(AOW)is because
of their Hi-Cap drum magazine.

Yeah, my notice came yesterday, 4-30 telling me today I would be a felon if I had one, and by the way, here's the number you can call to try to register it in the next 5 hours ha ha.

Actually, you'd probably have a better chance to own the 14" guns, they probably at least would be C&R
Hate to pay the UPS shipping though....

Heck, if I had to buy a NFA C&R, I'd get the '97. (The French one... )

Hey Bob, at least the "real" FFLs got a couple of DAYS warning, instead of the HOURS they gave us crufflers

I always wondered why they wanted to control push brooms. Pushed quite a few in my paving days, guess I woulodn't mind if they were outlawed.
