I just purchased my next project gun. It is clearly marked as being manufactured by Marlin. However, there is no model number anywhere on the barrel. I disassembled the entire piece. I'm giving it a total work over. Something I love to do. I looked in the Numrich Catalogue and the closest piece I could find that matched the pieces was the Marlin 100. This is the first Marlin I have ever owned, or saw for that matter that did not have the Model Number stamped on it. If anyone has a Model 100 that is stamped with the model number I would appreciate knowing. Thanks.
