i have owned this rifle for a while, and never was in-to-it until now!
i looked at marlins website and can't find any info. whats it comparable to today in marlins line? its a finishing nail setter @ 100yards with 9x40 glass treerats seem to spot the ss when i walk out my back door cause their population is just about ended. granny-annie loves them, i have tried them fixed 4 or 5 different ways. anyway!!! if anyone knows history of this gun please reply SEA-YA GENDOC

Not up to speed on that model....but do love my 783 bolt action. It too is a tack driver.
