Default "New" HS Model "B"

Hi all. I'm a newbie here so be easy on me.

I needed a .22 pistol to help teach my permit-students how to shoot at the range. So, I called our club FFL and asked if he had anything kicking around. I didn't want to pay too much for it but it has to be nice enough to teach on. He called and said I could have this:

Total, out the door with tax, $53. Can you believe it? I was, as you might imagine, very happy indeed. It's got a 4 digit serial number putting back to 1935. The ammo, btw, is also the same age and came from an old outfitter's store in Hartford way back then, too. They look good together, I think.

Just thought I'd stop by to share with you all. It's a hoot to shoot!

Cabinetman, I don't know for sure, but that sure looks like a steal to me!

GREAT BUY! I have a couple of HS's. One is a Model B and it is great shooter. Mine is a 'B' version of the Model B, yours in an A version ... differrent location of take down levers. I gave $200 w/holster and felt good about it as it was a 90%+ gun.

Enjoy!
