Default Question RE: East German Bayonet

Below are a few pictures of an East German bayonet that I recently acquired. The insulator has a 4-digit number that may be a serial number but there are no matching numbers on either the scabbard or the bayonet itself. However, on the bayonet there is a circle with a “K” inside the circle. Oh, yeah, the wire cutter tip of the scabbard has an “S” within a circle. Do either of the markings have any significance?

No pic of the “S” within the circle. It’s too tiny for my camera.
