Germany in World War II was very short of gasoline and other petrol prducts toward the end of the war. It is well known that they used coal to produce fuel for vehicles. Does any one have any idea how much it cost to do this? Let's make the question even more difficult, put that figure into dollars, and convert it to 2008 values.
