Hey !!! No one shot with us in the August Match. Ya gona do it this month?
Here are the results of our September 100 Yard Match. This 100 yd. 10 shot match was shot as a Side Match, along with our 25 & 50 yard Rimfire E-Mail Match scores at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan on September 14. We had 25 shooters in the E-Mail Match. I was busy helping to run the match, so didn’t get to shoot at 100 yards. Seven of our shooters DID entered the 100 Yard Side Match. The target was the standard NRA 100 yard target with the 1” X ring and the 2” 10 ring. ----------------------------------------------------------- 100-9x Don Buckbee, Gaylord, Michigan Anschutz M-54. Mitchell 2.5” x 32X scope. Eley ammo 100-7x Mike Ward. Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan Sako Action. BSA 36X scope. Lapua Ultama. McMillan Stock. Lilja Barrel. Jewel trigger. 100-5x Gregg Sparkman. Pickford, Michigan. Anschutz 54 Match. BSA Platinum 36X. Rem. Gold Ammo. 100-4x Chris Haller, Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan (Age 13) Suhl 150. Weaver T-36. Wolf Match Target. 99-4x Alexis Ward. Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan (Age 11) Sako Action. BSA 36X scope. Wolf Mach Extra. McMillan Stock. Lilja Barrel. Jewel trigger. 99-3x Mary Sparkman. Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan Anschutz 54 Match. BSA Platinum 36X scope. Remington Gold bullets. 88-1x Lee Arten. Laurium, Michigan Remington 541-T HB. Tasco 4-16X. Wolf Match Target. ----------------------------------------------------------- Come on you guys: Go to Walmart: Get a pack of a dozen 100 yard rifle targets. The ones with the red one inch X ring and the two inch ten ring. Shoot some targets at 100 yards and report yer best score. Our rules allow us to shoot up to 4 targets each month, and just report our best score. Most of our shooters only tried once last Sunday because we were running out of time. You got lots of time before the end of September. GIVE IT YOUR BEST SHOT. Report your best 10 shot target here on this forum. Ya wana know how we did at 25 & 50 yards? Go to Rimfire Central http://rimfirecentral.com/forums/for...p?s=&forumid=1 Then go to the “OnLine Matches” forum. I didn't get a picture of Don's 100 yard target. He headed South across the Mackinac Bridge right after the match ended. He lives way down south on Michigan's Lower Peninsula..
He will be back up here in YooperLand for our next match on Sunday, September 28th. Maybe if I ask him nice, he will bring the target back UP for a shot. You gona shoot with us this month Smokin? We just might have another go at 100 yards as a side match on the 28th. I won't be "working " the next match and will probably have time to shoot in a 100 yard match if there is time for one. Our rules allow up to 4 tries each month at 100 yards, but I probably won't have time for more than one 100 yd. target at that next match. The regular course of fire will be a match sanctioned by Rimfire Benchrest Association: Three 25 shot targets at 50 yards on the RBA target. One 25 shot target with a 7 1/2 lb Sporter; One target with a 10 1/2 lb. rifle; and one with any weight rifle, (Unlimited Class) If ya can't drive UP for the Match, ya can at least shoot the 100 yard Side Match with us: Right? Here is a picture taken at our match last Sunday. Covered firing line with nine bench. We were pretty crowded with 25 shooters. Guess we gota build more benches. Joe
