Default Armed Forces Military Museum: Florida

Aug. 16th marked the grand opening of the Armed Forces Military Museum. The museum is located in Largo, Florida. Largo is about a half an hour west of Tampa (for those of you looking at a map).

The museum has displays of items from WW1, WW2, Pearl Harbor, D-Day, Korea, Cold-War, Vietnam, Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom. They even have a few, well, very few, items from the Civil and Revolutionary wars.

They have a website here: www.armedforcesmuseum.com

I was there on opening day and can write a walkthrough if anyone is interested. It cost me $5 to get in but I think that was for opening day. I believe the price is $8 for adult admittance. Either way, having seen the museum, I'd pay $15 to go back.

Just thought I'd share.
