Does anyone have any experience with this thing?
http://www.gerbergear.com/product.php?model=2773 I saw one at Gander Mountain a month or so ago, but I wasn't sure just what to think. Any comments would be appreciated.

Never tried one. I saw that Knives Plus had them for $25 and change.
I've always liked the Woodmans Pal. http://www.woodmanspal.com/ Art

I've got a woodsmans pal also and I wouldnt take anything for it. It is the handiest tool that I've come across for use in the woods and for chopping firewood when camping.

I haven't used one of those but it looks mean. Looks like a smaller version of a sling blade and I know they work. My Dad had me on the working end of one many times clearing fence lines. They are great for clearing briars and small trees. I have a Gerber folding saw that has both wood and bone blades and it works great!!
